Pinocchio is a classic fable that has been told and retold over the generations. The original version speaks of a cobbler named Geppetto who cobbles together a marionette doll out of wood. Bestowed with the magic if animus Pinocchio comes to life and dreams of one day becoming a real boy. Somewhere along the way, he develops a bad habit for not telling lies, which causes his nose to grow. In the end, his wish is granted and he goes on to be a real boy working for Geppetto as an apprentice.
